Rhett

(excerpts)
Yeahhh we went to the Falls last week. It was pretty incredible how much water is falling over there!

Everything is going good over here, the Rivas family are now active and their son Jonas was baptized this Saturday!! So awesome to see them all at church. The work is going good, still slow sometimes for the people to progress and act, but I can feel the spirit working through us and the people can feel it and are gaining a testimony...and that makes me happy to see and has strengthened my testimony a lot. We are doing all we can to invite these people they just have to act. Leti and her familiy are seriously so close!! Leti, her mom, and her sister all feel that it is true and have gone to church, and they want to follow. It has been awesome to teach them and see how their testimonies have grown. I know that there is a big work here to come. We are gonna try and work a lot more with the members, like doing splits and stuff to find as many people as we can and help these people become converted to the gospel. I'm excited for this week to come!! Love you!!

(excerpts)
This week was really good! We had a woman named Irma in church who is a really great investigator! She had a great experience in church and will come again the next week! We are surely going to baptize her in September. Leo and Sole came to the baptism this Saturday and they also enjoyed it. They will come to church next week. We have contacted a TON of young families too so we're excited for all the work we have to do this week!

...Being here for so long I can't believe how blessed we are as a family. It's crazy that we even have the opportunity to go to a place like that. That's the place of people's dreams here! I don't remember the last time I saw a pool haha or even heard of a slide. We're so blessed!

I just gotta keep pushing and never be satisfied and God will bless after the trial of faith! He's blessing us a lot. Also I found out that a woman that I taught in Neuquen Centro got baptized this week! She is named Laura and she smoked 3 packs a day(60) and I got her down to about 12 before I left and now she got baptized! It's good to know that my efforts weren't wasted there!

I love this work! Till next week!

Trent - 4 months left!

Hola Everyone!

Its been a long time since I've actually written a group email... sorry! Love you and miss you all.

We've been having a few challenges here in Roca with getting people out of bed and to church. We're trying to do everything we can to find the people who are really prepared to receive this amazing Gospel and commit themselves to change and follow Jesus Christ. Sometimes I just wish they could understand how AWESOME it is!! There's nothing that brings more joy and peace and happiness! It sounds too good to be true, but it's not. All those who come unto Jesus Christ and believe in Him, repent, get baptized by someone who has the authority of God, receive the gift of the Holy Ghost, and endure to the end of their lives will be SO HAPPY! I know it without a doubt.

We're teaching a woman named Monica who is reading the Book of Mormon and is excited to receive the Gospel. She has a brother who is a member of the church here in Roca. She was going to come to church on Sunday but her grandpa passed away and they held the funeral right during church, "Justito, no?" We're gonna keep helping her though. As she reads the Book of Mormon and prays about it, I know she'll find the answers to the questions of her soul and she'll feel the powerful but still small voice of the Spirit testifying to her that it is true.

That's pretty much it for the time that I have. I hope that all is well back at home. Thanks for the prayers and love and support:) Hasta la próxima semana!

I don't have very much time this week as usual! I had a cool experience that I'll share with you guys though. One morning when I was praying just after getting up I asked God, "What do you need me to do today?" "Is there any specific asignment that you need me to do?" It was something along those lines. Almost immediately, the face of a woman we have been trying to teach for a little while came into my mind. I told God that I would be sure to pass by her that day. What was happening with the woman is that she was scared to tell her husband that she wanted to listen to us because she thought that he wouldn't let her. So we had passed by a few times before and we could never actually enter into her house and teach her because she was always by herself. So anyways, we passed by that day after having the experience with the prayer and her husband was there just when we passed by(and he's rarely home)!!! We got to know him and he said he would love to listen to us! We taught them both later that week! A little miracle. We can ask God what He wants us to do and He will tell us! Love you and miss you! Till next week!

Rhett - Como esta ESsseeeeeee

Hola Familia!!
Another good week out here! On Tuesday I had to go to Posadas and met my comp Elder Esse. He is from Chile and is a convert to the church of about 5 years. His mom and dad aren't members of the church so it really was a big sacrifice to leave them and come, but for that he knows why he is here and is excited about the work. This was his first week on the mission so he's got fresh legs and is ready to do the Lord's work.

We are having some great things happening here in Ruta. It hasn't been easy, but the Lord has led us to continue to find new people and help those that we have been able to cme in contact with. Familia Rivas came to church this week again and Jonas accepted a baptismal date this month. It was so great to see them at church again, they seem very happy to be there. Leti and her family are also really trying to prepare for baptism. They are are seriously so awesome, they feel like family to me. We had a lesson with them yesterday and they really feel it's true and are praying to know when they should be baptized. Their faith in the gospel and the church has grown so much it makes me so happy to see. I love them so much.

This week a lot of things happened like every week and I really can't describe it all in a letter, but I just know that the Lord directs this work. He is with us and is helping His work here in Ruta. I know He knows us individually and knows what we need. I have seen how He has helped us be instruments in His hands to help those in need of the gospel in their lives and really I am very grateful for the opportunity I have to serve. I know the gospel can change our lives if we really seek for it and then act. I hope you all have a great week. Much Love,
Elder Reilly

Rhett - Transferrrrsss

Hey!!
First off I'll just say Happy Birthday Mum! Thanks for everything, you still look so young as always! Love you!

So transfers came this week and I found that I'm staying here and am gonna be training a newby again. I'm honestly pretty bummed cause me and Peters were working really well together and doing big things here! I'm gonna miss that guy but it's all good. I know it's for a reason and me and my new comp are gonna work a fool...I will be going to Posadas tomorrow to find out who my next comp is, so we will see what happens.
This week was an awesome week!! Leti came to church again this week! Her and her mom and came walking over all by themselves. They loved it and said they want to come next week. They are such an awesome family and everytime we come we get to know more and more of the family and now almost all of them want to talk to us and go to church. Leti has a testimony and is loving it so she could be getting baptized in the coming weeks. We had an awesome experience yesterday with a less active family. They are the Rivas family and have been inactive for about 2 years now. We have been visiting them and one of their kids just turned 9 so we have been encouraging them to get active again so that they can receive the blessings of the gospel in their family and so that their son Jonas can be baptized. Yesterday we got to church and entered into sacrament meeting and they were there sitting down in the back row!! So awesome. The dad seemed really glad to be back and the branch seemed pretty pumped to see them come back to church. I feel the excitement of the branch growing and good things are happening. I'm excited for this week!! LOVE YOU ALL!

Hey!

Love and miss you! This Sunday was actually a rough one. We went to the house of Martin and Patricia before church and I had made pancakes and everything and we were gonna eat breakfast and go to church and we ate breakfast and then Martín said that they had made a decision as a family and that they're not going to go. It was so sad! He said that they didn't want to commit to go because they don't want to have to go every week and miss time to do other things. We tried to do all we could to testify and get them to but they weren't convinced. They are such a great family. Things like that are so hard. But así es...we´ll just keep working.

Transfers came and I'm staying here with Elder Stuardo. This will be his last transfer. I hope we'll have success together after having this difficult transfer. It was the only transfer in my entire mission in which not one investigator came to church! But I know that if i keep trying my best and trying to make miracles happen than I will find people to teach and baptize! I trust in God!

It will be very sad to miss the sealing of Martin and Blanca! A missionary who arrived to the zone today just got here from Esquel and he told me that Martin and Blanca are super active and that he got ordained an Elder! Thats so awesome! I'm sure they will make it to the temple.

We found a new apartment but they haven't finished the contract yet so we haven't moved in still. This month I hope we can move in.

Love you! Pray for us so that we can find the prepared people! Till next week!
