Hola familia!
I hope it’s all good up there. Time is flying by so fast it’s crazy, I seriously can’t believe I only have one week left in the mission. It honeslty makes me sad thinking I’m gonna be leaving behind all these people that I have come to love so much. Really I'm so grateful to be a missionary, it really has been the best two years and I have come to know my Savior and brother Jesus Christ so much more. It hasn't been easy but through the sacrifice and hard times I have seen how the Lord has been able to make me into a better person and instrument in His hands to find and save His children. Really I know that the gospel is true and allows us to make changes.

I HAVE been able to see that with Romina. She is really changing and growing a love for the gospel and desire to follow Christ. It makes me so happy to see that! She has a really busy life so that made it a little tough to follow but she has the faith and is praying that God will help her follow the path. She had a baptismal date for this week but wasn't able to come to church unfortunately so will probably be baptized later down the road. Also this week Brother Piriz showed his faith and walked all the way ro church with his son! If you rememeber he is the man that we passed when he was working in his yard and then turned to talk to him. He is now quitting smoking and came to church on Sunday. He still has some obstacles to face to be baptized but he wants to change and I can see his progress. How awesome is that! Through Christ and His gospel we all can ALL change. It doesn't matter who we are or where we live, He is there, we just have to show our faith and act. But it’s
been a great week and this last week there is still more for me to do. This is the Lords work! Love you all

Trent - 1 week left!!

Hola Everyone!!

Man I haven’t written in so long! Sorry! Love and miss all of you! Wow the time has passed by so fast. This has been the greatest experience of my life by far. Nothing even comes close. I’m so privileged to be a servent of Jesus Christ every day and all day! I love this work.

We had such a great experience on Saturday. We were walked around in a neighborhood because we had a few appointments there but they all fell through so we were kind of just walking around and talking to everyone we saw and I felt this small impression telling me to turn left. We did and we saw this woman with one leg in her yard with her daughter and we said hi and just kind of kept walking because we usually don't talk to single woman who are kind of young. Right when we passed, I felt, “No, go back". So we went back and started talking to her and she was so prepared for our message that we shared. We answered all her questions and taught the message of the restoration of the gospel of Jesus Christ. When we testified that God has called a prophet to restore what was lost and that the Book of Mormon was the word of God, the Spirit just came upon all of us so strongly. I literally felt Him testifying of the truthfulness of my words. It was such a powerfull experience! I’m so grateful that I followed that impression from the Spirit and could testify of the great message of the gospel of Jesus Christ to one of God’s children. It’s such a priviledge to be his servant!

I LOVE this great work. It’s the greatest thing happening on the Earth right now. Love you all! See you really soon

I’m just gonna do what you always say and sprint the finish and come home every day dead until I’m done. I’ve done it the whole mish why stop now. I really do love this work! The spirit has really been working with Cristian it’s so cool to see. He really is starting to get it now, but we haven't been able to find him that much. He's always pretty busy. This week was actually pretty unsuccessful, but we worked so hard. We have been talking to so many people and I think that we have found a couple chosen ones. AndrĂ©s has a baptisimal date for the 8th of December. Miguel had a baptismal date for the 8th but he didn't come to church this week so he’ll have to be baptized mas adelante.

Our ward is struggling honestly here. Theres about 20 to 30 who come every week. There are 2 families that are really awesome though!!! La familia Velenzuela is so awesome. They always want to help us out. So please help the missionaries. It just makes the work flow so smoothly when there is good fellowshipping and member missionaries.

This week we had the Zone conference and I had to give my "last testimony" along with two others who are going home with me. I can’t believe that it’s all coming to an end. I’ve just loved this time here so much. I really love being a missionary!!! It’s the best. It’s true happiness! I’ll see you soon!!

Sorry I can only write one main letter today because we went to Iguazu Falls today and dont have much time to write. By the way the falls were awesome, one of the wonders of the world baby! But it’s been a good week. Yes, we had a Thanksgiving feast, and yes mom I pulled off the rolls haha! Everybody seemed to like them. But really I love this time of year because we really are able to think about the things we are thankful for. There is so much to be thankful for!! I’m especially grateful for all of you guys and for your love and support. I am so grateful to be able to serve the people here of Paraguay and Argentina! It’s gonna by so fast and I can’t believe I only have about 2 weeks left. It makes me sad to think I will be leaving these people here my brothers and sisters, but I know there is still a work for me to do in these last 2 weeks and I'm not gonna waste it!

To give an update on the people we have been visiting. Ariane got baptized on Friday, so that was awesome! Her grandparents are now assisting in church every week, and her mom came to church this week. Because of her, her family are now active in the church. That makes me happy to see. Romina is doing really well and loves the lessons. We talked to her this week and she told us how she just really feels good and feels it is an answer ro her prayers. We invited her to be baptized for the 8th and she accepted and seemed super ready for it! Yolanda is struggling a little bit with some family problems but tells us that the lessons really help and comfort her. Please pray for her.

These last couple of weeks I read the book by the church "Our Legacy”. It talks about the restoration and how the early saints were able to establish the church. How they suffered their lives, were hated, spit upon, thrown out and even were brought to death because of it. After all of that they then had to walk about 2000 miles in freezing weather to move to safety and be able to start the church where it now is. It was so hard for them but they knew why they were doing it, that is was God’s work and He would help them through it. I think about the sacrifice that I've made to come here for two years and really it isn't much compared to them. It makes me so grateful to know that because of them the restored church is on the Earth and we don't have to sacrifice literally our lives to share it. How great is that, that we have the gospel in our lives and we can always put in our little sascrifice at least a little to share it. I know this is God’s work and am so grateful for it. Have a good week, love you guys!

Hola Famia y amigos,
Time is flying by like I can’t believe! I’be been trying to take advantage of every minute. Elder Esse and I have been working really hard and praying that the Lord can help us find those prepared for the gospel and we have been able to find a lot of people because of it. The Lord answers prayers, that’s for sure!

Some things that have happened with investigators...Jolanda is still reading the Book of Mormon and praying to know about her baptism. She has been progressing really well just every time she is about to come to church something happens and shes not able to go dangit! I feel like that’s the only thing that’s keeping her from really gaining a testimony. We are gonna focus on that this week and help her get come to church! It’s crazy how every time something good is about to happen something always seems to get in the way. It’s because the Satan knows all the blessings and happiness one can have through the gospel and he always sends something to mess things up. But when we get past that and turn to God he helps us to endure and get us to where He wants us to be. If you could please pray for her that would be awesome!

About a week an a half ago we found a lady named Romina who lives with her 3 kids. When we got there she told us how she really has never gone to any church and has always had the faith that God would lead her or show her where she needs to go. Then we showed up one day and started talking to her about the restoration and the Book of Mormon and she feels we are an answer to her prayers. She really loves the missionary lessons and wants to follow. She says that the Book of Mormon gives her a feeling of peace when she reads it! It’s really aweosme in the misison to find people like that. Heavenly Father knows His children and knows what they need, and answers our prayers. He leads us to find those that are ready for the gospel in their lives. Aww man its so great to be a missionary and a part of this work! I hope you all have a great week. Much love,

This week was good. Cristian is doing pretty well, but he's studying philosophy so he had some pretty wack ideas when we taught him the plan of salvation. We found some really good investigators this week though. I’m excited to see how they progress this next week. My companion is really great. He is really obedient and works really hard.

The mission secretary told me this last week that Rhett and I will be flying home on the same flight! And we are gonna have a really long layover in Buenos Aires so well be able to talk for a long time. That should be sweet! I cant believe the mission is coming to an end! I dont want it to finish! I love it so much!! I will sprint to the finish.
I’m really trying finish strong and come home and hit the ground sprinting and baptize all the rest of my friends. Start praying so that God prepares them!

Love you! Till next week!

I’m writing really late because I got transferred this week to train one of the newbies haha. I was so sad to leave Roca honestly! The work was progressing so well! We had 5 investigators in church this week, Leo, Luis, MarĂa Elena, Hugo, and Antonela. And three of them have baptismal dates in November. But I'm excited to be in my new area and to TRAIN! It’s gonna be so fun. My new comp is from Indiana. He’s named Elder Gray and he seems like a really nice kid. We have a HUGE area so it should be a lot of walking and a lot of fun.

Among the people we taught this week are 3 great investigators we found named Cristian, Yesica, and Luisa. They are all really prepared to receive the gospel and we found them through contacting on the street. We've literally been talking to everyone so I'm sure well keep finding lots of new prepared people. Luisa accepted a baptisimal date for the 24th of this month. She has family members in the church and she’s always wanted to talk to the missionaries. We were guided to her!

Thats great that Trump is killing it. Argentina is seriously in the tank. About 10 years ago, the dollar and the Argentine peso were equal and now 1 dollar is a little less that 40 Argentine pesos. It’s crazy. But good for me haha because all the souvenirs I buy before I leave are gonna be cheap. The common peolpe suffer though. When I got here, a kilo of bread was about 10 pesos. Now its about 60! No one has enough to eat. They have to keep raising the amount of money that they give to the missionaries every month.

I can’t believe the mission is almost done. I’m literally giving everything I have! I’m just gonna keep going strong until I’m done haha! Love you! Till next week!!

(excerpts)

The working is going super well right now. This week we found a bunch of new people. The hard thing for us has been that everyone basically lets us in to talk with them but a lot don't really feel a need to make changes and be baptized. So we have been really focusing and praying to find people who really NEED the gospel in their lives and the Lord has really helped us to find them! We have been praying to find a family that really are in need of the gospel. On Friday we were contacting in a street we had never been to before and we passed by a house and saw a guy working outside. We passed by thinking...ohh he's working he probably wont want to listen, and kept walking. Then we stopped and Elder Esse and I looked at each other and thought, nope we gotta go talk to him! So we went back and we gave him a Saludo and started talking to him. He directly invited us to pass by and share. We got to talking with him and he told us that he has hash a really bad smoking problem and has wanted to quit but never could and that he knows he needs to stop to go to church and be with God. He said he does want start going to church and how he know it will be a good thing for him and his family. We shared about Jesus Christ and the gospel and how he would be able to quit and be clean from everything and start over through baptism. We told him we would be there to help him every step of the way and he accepted a baptismal date for the 25th of this month. We visited him again yesterday and were also able to share with his 2 kids and put baptismal dates with them as well. We told how much the gospel blesses families and how they all together follow Christ through baptism. He loved it and now they are all preparing to be baptized. Pretty awesome!! I dont have time to write more but really it is so great to be a part of this work and see the Lord’s hand in it. This is His work! Love you guys!

Hola familia!
I hope you all had a great week. It’s always great to hear from you and hear all the good things happening over in the US. We just got the transfers this week and I found out that Elder Esse and I will both be staying here in Ruta. So I will be finishing my mission here! The time has gone by so fast I can’t believe it’s almost coming to an end:( But I'm really excited to be here another transfer and see the fruits of our labor! I want to finish strong and be diving across the finish line!

This week has been a little crazyy. Mirla got really sick this week and then had a soccer tournament for their son so we weren't able to visit them this whole week unfotunatley. But they still have their baptismal date for the 17th, so we will be working with them and do all we can this week to help them be prepared for that day! We have had a lot of investigators this week that haven't been showing much progression and having been keeping their commitments so we are going to stop visiting some of them and try to find a lot of new people this week so that we can have a big group pf investigators for the transfer. It’s been a little bit tough to see that. But I dont want to waste any time and want to find all those prepared that really need the gospel in their lives. We had a really cool experience yesterday. We left the house with a prayer saying that we really wanted to find a family if possible that needs the gospel in their lives and that could be baptized this transfer. We left with a member and had planned to go to an area a little bit far from us to a reference a member had given us. As we got to the area we asked a bunch of houses and asked if they knew the reference but everyone kept telling us that she lives over there, or over there two streets down, until we got there and it wasn't her haha. But when we got to one of the last streets we saw a lady and a kid sitting out side and we decided to contact and talk with them. Without even basically saying who we were, she told us to pass by and sit down. So we sat down on her porch and she told us that she hasn't gone to a church in about 6 months because she hasn't felt good in really any church. She told us about how Franko(the kid that was sitting down on her porch) has been living with her and her sister and that he basically his whole life hasn't had parents to help him and to be with him so that’s been hard. We shared with them about the restoration of the Gospel and how God had put His church on earth once again to bless us and our families and help us have a better life. They told us that they would like us to keep coming by to teach them more. We didn't even plan to go where they lived that day but somehow we ended up there and were able to find them, a familiy ready for the gospel. It’s a testimony to me again that God answers prayers and that He guides this work. There are so many people that need this gospel in their lives, we just need to find them! I hope you all have a great week. Love you guys!

Rhett - Asadooooo

Holaaaa,
Espero que todo esta bien ahi. Esta semana fue super copado!
It’s been a good week! We had a lot of good stuff happening over here. We have been just trying to be really bold and direct with our investigators to help them understand that we are here to change their lives and help them to follow Christ and help them receive all the blessings He has in store for them! Why not make the changes now, so you can be happy now and receive the blessings now. We had confidence that the Lord would soften their hearts and they would understand and I can say that we’ve seen some great things happen.

On Thursday we visited Mirla and Clemente and talked about eternal families and how they can be sealed and be together for time and eternity. They seemed to like that a lot and we explained that the way they can prepare is by taking the first step towards baptism. We put a date to get married and be baptized the next day and they accepted! We then shared our testimonies and told them about how they can prepare for baptism by going to church and that we knew the Lord would bless them if they could make the sacrifice and effort to go church. This past Sunday was also Mother’s Day here in Argentina so it would even be a greater sacrifice. They said ok and invited us to come to their house after church to have lunch and celebrate Mother’s Day with them. On Sunday Mirla, Clemente and their son Mattias all came to church! Haha it was so great to see them there, and I just pray that they can keep feeling the Spirit and have the help needed to follow!!

Man there are so many things that happen out here, I just don't have time to write it all, but I am very grateful to be here and a part of this great work. Thinking about what I wrote above, it is amazing how our God has prepared such a perfect plan and way to prepare us to return one day to live with Him. Through the small steps we take in our lives: Faith, repentence, baptism, partaking of the sacrament, going to the temple, all these steps bring us closer to Him. Through the small things, God can make big things happen. I hope you all have a great week! Love you

Love ya and miss ya! Thanks for the sports update. Dang that’s so sweet that the Lakers have Rajon Rondo and Lebron James. Do they still have the Ball kid from California? I’m excited to see them when I get back. But for now I'm focused on the mish!

Everything is going great. Maria Elena came to church again and is progressing really well. She fulfills every committment so she will surely be baptized the 10th of November. Luis came to church again too. We explained really clearly to him the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the importance of true repentance and coming unto God with a broken heart and a contrite spirit. He could finally understand and now he's preparing himself to be baptized next month.

I love this work. Im just trying to be the best can every day! I’ll sprint through the finish and dive! Till next week!

There’s always moments we can take advantage of to share the gospel and there’s always people prepared to hear it.  This week was awesome! IRMA GOT BAPTIZED! I had the priviledge of baptizing her. I’ll send a pic. She is so converted to the Gospel and she will never fall away! She was just so full of joy when she got baptized and confirmed the next day. She was a former member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and she received a testimony that our church was true though the Book of Mormon! She says she now knows what was missing! It was such a cool experience! I love being a missionary and getting to have experiences like that.Leo and Sole and Luis are doing good but they aren't ready to be baptized yet. We had to move their baptismal dates forward.

I love this work and I'm excited to SPRINT it out to the finish! Love ya! Till next week!

Hey mom and dad!
Sorry I don't have much time to write today so this will be the only email sorry!!! But mom that is awesome that your scan came out clean, I like it!! You have been strong and I know the Lord has been watching over our family. Unfortunately we didn't have anyone come to church this week. There have been a lot of storms and rain here so it’s been a little difficult for them to make it out. But we really are trying and doing our part and it’s up to them and their agency to really choose and be commit to follow. But I like what you said dad about really testifying and telling them how important it really is to commit now. Salvation is at hand here, we can’t afford to waste time and let it pass away! We have really been trying and inviting every lesson, and I have been able to see how the Lord is opening many hearts and allowing them to accept a date. This week we were able to put a lot of baptismal dates down and we’re gonna work to putting more this week! Thanks for praying for them, I know the Lord is listening and He will help them to understand. I just really pray that we can have the spirit with us and be BOLD enough to help them really feel the truth!!! AHHH, my testimony has seriously grown so much from being here, I can’t deny that it’s true! Really I'm going to do everything I can, and if they don't decide to accept at least I know I did my part. I really like this scripture in
Alma 26:11-12. But Ammon said unto him: I do not boast in my own strength, nor in my own wisdom; but behold, my joy is full, yea, my heart is brim with joy, and I will rejoice in my God.

12 Yea, I know that I am nothing; as to my strength I am weak; therefore I will not boast of myself, but I will boast of my God, for in his strength I can do all things; yea, behold, many mighty miracles we have wrought in this land, for which we will praise his name forever.

God can do all things, there are miracles ahead!! MUCH love

Hola familia!
Man it was a good week!! Conference was awesome no!! President Nelson is really doing an awesome job helping guide the church. How great is it to know that there is a prophet today on the Earth to lead and guide the Lord’s work. I really liked how a lot of the talks were about taking upon us the name of Christ. It is true that there are so many distraction today in our world and things that take us away from the things that God wants us to have. In everything we do, it reflects on Him. If we really stand up for Him in the world we will be able to overcome all the bad things and distractions and really be able to see things as He sees them and experience more blessings and happiness than we can imagine. How great would the world be if everyone really could see as Christ saw? And do as He did? That motivated me a lot and made me want to continue to strive to be better!

But this week was great as well! We have continued to work with Mirla, Clemente, and Mattias. They are a really special family and I feel like they are like our best friends. It’s crazy how here we meet people and in about 2 weeks you come to love them and become best friends. I really have come to love them and we are trying to do everythiong we can to help them make the gospel a part of their lives. This past week we have taught a lot about the commandents and why they are important. We had a lesson with them yesterday and they are really understanding well and understand how it will bless their lives and their family. Please pray for them that they will keep understanding and can receive an answer to know these things are true! It has made me think about how the commandents really are for our good and can bless our lives if we are constantly trying to obey them. But there are good things happening here, I'm just really grateful for this opportunity I have to serve and be a member of this church! The church is ture! I hope you all have a great week, love you guys!

Hola everyone!

This week was so great! We all of the sudden have so many investigators that we can’t even go see them all so we’ve had to focus our efforts on those who are most progressing. We have 6 investigators who have accepted baptisimal dates this month and who still continue committed to those dates. Irma, Luis, Leo, y Sole came to church this week. Irma is progressing a ton! She is ready to be baptized the 13th and excited for it. She accepts and keeps all the committments and for that reason she just keeps progressing. The other day she made us homemade bread and buñuelitos and homemade jam. She’s like my argentine grandma haha. Luis is a former boxer who has almost lost all his vision because he got hit too many times in the eyes. Hes about 35 years old. He's a beast! He has already received an answer from God that he needs to be baptized the 20th. Leo and Sole are a young MARRIED:)))))) couple. They loved church and have also committed to be baptized the 20th!

AsĂ que the work is doing great and la COSECHA ya viene! I love being a missionary! There’s nothing better than helping all to come unto Christ. Love you and miss you all! Till next week!

Hola Familia!!
I hope all is good over there! I want to just start off by saying congratulations mom on finishing chemo! AHHH that makes me so happy, what a beast mom!!

But I cant believe it’s already October, time is flying by sooo fast! I’m still still here in Ruta with Elder Esse. There is a lot of good stuff happening over here. It’s been a little slow the past couple of weeks with finding some new people to teach that really want to progress, so we have been praying a lot lately to find some families that really need the gospel in their lives and that have a desire to accept and follow in the gospel. We have been working really hard and have seen how the Lord is listening and is answering our prayers.

One example of that was last week we were looking for some new people and we contacted a lady named Graciela. She let us pass by and share with her and we had a good lesson with her and she told us she lives with her husband and 2 kids. She said we could come back another day and we did and we able to teach her again. She understood really well when we taught her about the Restoration but told us she didn't know if she could follow unless her husband was ok with it. So this past week we have been trying to plan things out so we could talk to her husbsnd and teach the whole familiy together. And yesterday we passed by and the whole family was there! Her husband came to the front gate and invited us in and we were able to teach the whole family together. We got to talking with him and He was really open with us and we were able to have a great lesson. We gave them the invitation to pray about what we taught to really know if it’s true so that their family could follow and experience the blessing the gospel brings as a family. They said they would and said we could come back another day to share more. It doesn't seem like a very big experience or anything but it really made me feel and think how Heavenly Father is always listening. We’ve been wanting to find and teach a family open to the gospel and He led us to find them. I know that prayer is real and God will always answer when we sincerely ask and do our part. I just really hope we can be led and find all those that are ready to listen and act in the gospel! I dont want to miss any! Have a good week. Love you guys

Elder Esse is doing good, he’s got a really good testimony and we both really want to baptize so we are working hard. Leti and her family didn't come to church againnn...... dangit!! Its been taking so long to get them to commit to baptism, but they are progressing little by little. I feel like it will take some time but they will be baptized at one point for sure. We have a lot of good stuff happening in the branch though. Every Tuesday night we have big family home evening as a branch, and last week 40 people came, so that was sweet! 3 investigators came as well. At church this week 2 less active families and another less active guy came to church, so that was awesome to see, the church is growing back up over here. There are a ton of less active members in the area so we are trying to get them back to strengthen the branch so the work can progress. Yeah I made cinnamon roles and brownies and they turned pretty good! Who knew I could cook! haha, Things are going well here though, Love you!

This week was so great! Elder Puig and I get along great and we just started talking to everyone and we invited all our investigators to be baptized and almost all of them accepted! It was so sweet! Irma came to church again and has accepted to be baptized the 13th of October. She loves coming to church and she’s excited to keep coming. We also had another investigator come to church named Jesus Antonio and he accepted to be baptized for the 20th of October! The whole sacrament meeting and Sunday was perfectly set up for him! He felt the spirit a lot and is excited to keep coming! Also Leo and Sole accepted to be baptized the 20th of October and 3 other people accepted to be baptized in October. It’s crazy how many miracles and things we saw in just one week. I love the mish!

Actually we cooked a lot this week. And yes I must say that I have pretty good skills in the kitchen now. That’s sweet that you guys went to the temple! Keep going. People here have to save all year to go for a couple days to the temple. We have it so close.

Love and miss you! Till next week!

Hola familia!
We just had transfers this week and I found out that I'll be staying here in Ruta for another transfer with Elder Esse. I'm pretty excited about that! Unfortunately Leti and her mom didn't come to church this week. I don't know why but we are going to pass by tomorrow and see what happened with them. We visited them with a member this week and had a great lesson, and they said they were gonna come. But we are going to pass by tomorrow and see how they are doing.

We are really trying to get the members involved here now that we have found a good group of investigators. We have been trying to get them to come out with us or if not invite some of their friends to church and we have seen some good results because of it. A couple of weeks ago we had lunch with a member family and they had a friend come over for lunch and we were able to talk to her and tell her about the Plan of Salvation. The member family seemed to be pretty happy about it and yesterday there friend came to church! It was so great to see her there and see how the members can have a huge impact on missionary work. There are so many people that really need the gospel in their lives, all they are waiting for is just an invitation to come. I feel like now the members are trying to invite more and they can see that it really is possible to invite their friends to receive the gospel! This next transfer we are going to try and work a lot with them and help grow this branch.

Something else that happened this week, we have been visiting a family of three these past couple of weeks and they have been really open to learn about the gospel and invite us in to teach. Afredo, Mirla, and Mattias are their names. They understand a lot and believe in God but have never really been active in a church or really been that into the gospel. We have been wanting to put a baptismal date with them to help grow their faith but it just hasn't felt right to do it yet. But this week we had a lesson with them and talked about the Plan of Salvation and how when we exercise faith, repent, are baptized, recieve the gift of the Holy Ghost, and endure to the end we will be cleansed from sin and be prepared to one day live with God again. We played a little game to help them understand better and after the game were able to invite them to be baptized. We were a little nervous on how they would respond but we had the faith and went for it. They were a little bit unsure at first and didn't know if they wanted to . But then we were able to testify of the blessing they could receive and how they could pray and ask Heavenly Father to help them know and feel it's true so that they could be prepared to follow Jesus Christ and enter the waters of baptism. There was a good feeling in the room and they said they would like to prepare themselves and ask if it's true. It was great to be apart of and I really can see this family following in the gospel. It makes me so grateful to think how lucky we are to have the opportunity to pray and seek direction from a Heavenly Father who is all powerful and knows all things. He has everything and gives us the opportunity to ask Him and get answers. How great is that! I am very grateful for prayer and know that He listens. Have a good week! Much love

Rhett

This week we were able to meet with Leti and her family with a member. It has been hard for the whole family to go to church because they have a son named Jesus who is disabled and unable to use his arms much or his legs. Basically if they go to church only the mom or one of the sisters is able to go so that the other one can stay with Jesus. They live pretty far from the church, and have a wheel chair that is broken so it has been really hard to get them to go to church. But we passed by this week with a member and sat down with Carolina(Leti’s Mom), Maria, and some more family that I hadn't ever met and we talked to them about the gospel of Jesus Christ. The lesson went great and we talked about how it can really bless their lives and how we are willing to do whatever it takes to help their whole family follow the gospel and come to church. We told them that at least for one week we could come by with a car that a member has and take them all with us, even Jesus! Carolina was super happy about that and on Sunday we passed by and Carolina, Maria, Jesus and some others in the family were all able to come to church. Jesus was so happy to be there and his mom carried him around the whole time so that he could go to the classes with her. When the members saw that she was carrying him around the whole time without a wheel chair or anything they talked about ways they could get a new wheelchair for her or if everyone could pitch in some money to buy a new one. That was so great to see!! The whole branch pitching in helping one another. They all seemed to love church and Carolina feels good about it. It was so great to see how they are putting forth their efforts to come to church and really want to follow in the gospel. And to see how little acts of service really can make a big impact of someone. The members really looked for ways to help and helped her feel good and now are helping her to get a wheelchair for Jesus. That is really what the gospel is all about! We all have personal needs, but true joy comes when we look outwords and look for opportunities to serve. Through those little acts, we can change others lives and bless our own lives! It was a good week! Love you guys!!
