Hola familia!

Man it was a good week!! Conference was awesome no!! President Nelson is really doing an awesome job helping guide the church. How great is it to know that there is a prophet today on the Earth to lead and guide the Lord’s work. I really liked how a lot of the talks were about taking upon us the name of Christ. It is true that there are so many distraction today in our world and things that take us away from the things that God wants us to have. In everything we do, it reflects on Him. If we really stand up for Him in the world we will be able to overcome all the bad things and distractions and really be able to see things as He sees them and experience more blessings and happiness than we can imagine. How great would the world be if everyone really could see as Christ saw? And do as He did? That motivated me a lot and made me want to continue to strive to be better!

But this week was great as well! We have continued to work with Mirla, Clemente, and Mattias. They are a really special family and I feel like they are like our best friends. It’s crazy how here we meet people and in about 2 weeks you come to love them and become best friends. I really have come to love them and we are trying to do everythiong we can to help them make the gospel a part of their lives. This past week we have taught a lot about the commandents and why they are important. We had a lesson with them yesterday and they are really understanding well and understand how it will bless their lives and their family. Please pray for them that they will keep understanding and can receive an answer to know these things are true! It has made me think about how the commandents really are for our good and can bless our lives if we are constantly trying to obey them. But there are good things happening here, I'm just really grateful for this opportunity I have to serve and be a member of this church! The church is ture!
